Join us for a BioBlitz!

Main content start

A bioblitz is a communal event that focuses on recording as many species as possible within a specific location and time period. As part of Love Data Week, we'll be gathering information on our local biodiversity - around Stanford and the Hopkins Marine Station - to better understand the plants, animals, and critters that share the campus with us.

iNaturalist BioBlitz Tracker

We're hosting our BioBlitz on iNaturalist, an online social network for people to map and share biodiversity. Be sure to check out Stanford Libraries Love Data Week BioBlitz on iNaturalist for the latest observations and species recorded.

If you're unsure of where to begin, themed walks and trails around campus is a great resource to find places to make observations around the Stanford Palo Alto campus.
